Doyin Adeleye is a sustainability, climate, utilities, carbon, energy & environmental management professional with over 15 years of thorough and global technical, consulting, operations, management, policy, and regulatory experience. He has worked for the likes of SRK Consulting, United Utilities, Emerson Moore Geosciences, Mouchel (Now part of WSP), Balfour Beatty, Office of Gas & Electricity Markets, UK Government’s Department of Energy & Climate Change (now part of UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) The Environment Agency (Part of UK Government’s Department of Environment, Food & Rural Affairs) and the Greater London Authority, all in the United Kingdom, and with some substantial work assignments beyond the United Kingdom. Doyin has been actively involved in promoting, developing, and deploying clean energy technologies, driving energy efficiency, power optimization, decarbonization, climate adaptation, sustainable initiatives, and accelerating the energy transition in the public and private sectors, globally, and in various high-level capacities.

He was recently involved in training development and knowledge transfer program with the Carbon Capture and Storage Research Center in the United Kingdom, and he has been pivotal in developing environmental Best Approach Techniques (BAT) and permitting guidelines for preventing or minimizing emissions and impacts on the environment from post-combustion carbon dioxide capture. Doyin holds a degree in Exploration Geology and Natural Resources from Cardiff University, (Wales, UK) and a postgraduate degree in Energy, Environment Technologies, and Economics from City University (London) amongst many other academic endeavors. He is a Low Carbon Consultant (CIBSE, UK) and a member of the Energy Institute (UK).
